EPA Lead Safety Certification for Renovation, Repairs & Painting (RRP)

(Registration will open November 5, 2010)
As of April 22, 2010, contractors performing renovation, repair and painting projects that disturb lead-based paint in homes, child care facilities, and schools built before 1978 must be certified and must follow specific work practices to prevent lead contamination.
Welding Essentials for Construction Managers

Topics covered will include Basic Metallurgy of Welding, Weld Types: Geometrics & Welding Demonstration, Weld Inspection, Welding Management: What CMs Need to Know, and Welding Case Studies. Earn 6.5 PDH for the low-cost $50 course, held at OTC’s Center for Workforce Development at 614 North Washington Avenue in Springfield, Missouri.
